并非…而是… to correct an explanation
Reject the first explanation and replace it with the second. This pattern does not merely add information.
问题并非时间不够，而是安排不合理。
之所以…是因为… for cause and result
The result follows 之所以; the cause follows 是因为. Do not reverse the cause-and-result relationship.
他之所以改变计划，是因为发现了新的问题。
一旦…就… for a triggering condition
一旦 emphasizes that a consequence or action follows when a condition arises.
一旦发现错误，就应及时说明。
与其说…不如说… to refine a description
Compare which description is more accurate. The second clause adjusts or clarifies the first.
与其说这是技术问题，不如说是沟通问题。
不见得 to express uncertainty
Do not infer quality from participant numbers alone. 不见得 limits how certain the judgment is.
参与人数多，效果不见得就好。
相较于 to introduce a comparison point
The opening phrase sets the comparison point. Compare the same aspect in the rest of the sentence.
相较于过去的方案，新方案更灵活。
Suggested review cycle
- Read the method and practice a few questions before working on speed.
- Read explanations and retry missed questions. Only attempts without hints count as independent success.
- Write or speak, save a draft, then revise using the checklist.
- Check official sample papers before timed practice. The correct-answer rate here is not an exam score.
